2018 HSLC Tails and Ales Cutest Dog Contest
Join in the fun by entering your Furbaby in the Tails and Ales Cutest Dog Contest! Judging starts promptly at 2:00 PM for Pints followed by the Growlers.
Registration: Sign up at the Cutest Dog Registration Table at the event.
Contest Details
- Entrant’s owner must purchase Tails and Ales Event Ticket.
- Entrants must be leashed, licensed and present at Tails and Ales
- Entries must be submitted no later than 1:45pm. The contest begins promptly at 2:00pm.
- There are two weight classes:
- Pints (35lbs and under)
- Growlers (36lbs and over)
- Participant’s number must be pinned to the owner and visible to the judges.
- Judging Criteria: Entrants will be judged on behavior, character, charisma & uniqueness. The judges’ decisions will be final.
- Winners will be announced as soon as the contest is complete. The winning dogs will pose for a photo. Winners’ name and photo will be included in our post-event press releases and on our website.
- Prizes awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each class.
- All entrants will receive a goody bag donated from Wags ‘N Barks!
- All entries are encouraged to walk in the Leesburg Halloween Parade on Wednesday, October 31st with the HSLC car. More information will be handed out after the contest.
Contest Rules
- All dogs must remain leashed (non-retractable) and be with an adult at all times.
- Rabies and vaccinations must be current.
- Dogs must wear I.D. tags at all times.
- No dogs in heat.
- No aggressive dogs.
- Please pick up after your dog – bags will be provided.
