Does HSLC have youth volunteer opportunities?
Yes! We encourage youth volunteers to join us in making a difference for animals! We appreciate the enthusiasm, energy, and fresh ideas from our younger community. We also believe that volunteering at a young age is important to developing adults who dedicate time and effort to community service throughout their lives. To help out at events, volunteers must be 16 or older. We encourage youths younger than 16, with the support of a family member or adult friend, to volunteer by organizing a food drive or fundraiser!
Important!
HSLC is an all-volunteer, foster-based organization without a student volunteer coordinator or a shelter.
Unfortunately, we ARE NOT in a position to support high school capstone projects.
